Finish Line Festival to Feature Austin Based Independent Brewery
Kerrville, Texas, July 13, 2023 — High Five Events, one of the largest privately owned event production companies in the United States, pens sponsorship deal with EIGHT Beer making it the Official Beer of the Kerrville Triathlon. This inaugural agreement means that EIGHT, an Austin-based company, will feature its low-calorie, low-carb light lager at the finish line festival’s beer garden for finishers aged 21 and up. The annual Kerrville Triathlon Festival takes place in Kerrville, Texas on September 23 & 24, 2023.
“We’re thrilled to be the official beer sponsor of the Kerrville Tri. As a triathlete myself, I can’t wait to participate in the race and represent Team EIGHT,” said Eight Co-Founder Ruchi Desai. “Most of all, I’m looking forward to celebrating with everyone post-race in the EIGHT beer garden.”
EIGHT, founded by NFL legend and lifelong fitness enthusiast Troy Aikman, is a light lager brewed with organic grains and no added adjuncts, fillers, or preservatives, 90 calories and 2.6g carbs per 12 oz serving. EIGHT will provide sampling opportunities at the Health and Fitness expo while also being available to participants and spectators in the EIGHT Beer Garden at the Kerrville Triathlon Finish Line Festival. The EIGHT Beer Garden will provide runners and their friends and family a place to gather, relax and enjoy a cold EIGHT post-race.

The Kerrville Triathlon offers participants a scenic course that showcases the natural beauty of the Texas Hill Country. The swim portion takes place in the refreshing waters of the Guadalupe River. As athletes transition to the bike, they are greeted with rolling hills and views of the surrounding countryside. The run course takes participants along the riverfront, shaded by towering trees offering a peaceful atmosphere to push through the final miles. The Kerrville Tri is a fun but challenging race that has a variety of distances to choose from including: Half, Quarter, Rookie, Sprint, plus Relays & Aquabike. The Kerrville Tri will be hosting their annual Health and Fitness Expo at the Inn of the Hills Hotel, where participants will pick up their race day packets on September 22nd from 3:00 PM -7:00 PM and on September 23rd from 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM.
